You can manipulate it, breathe under it, heal from it (Kinda like Percy Jackson). After a rather brutal mission, you decide to take matters into your own hands and go for a late night skinny dip to heal yourself. You think you’re alone, but someone is watching.

The moon followed you like a spotlight as you snuck across the grounds of the Avengers compound to the pool. After the day you’d had, you needed this. You knew it would be the only thing to make you feel like you again. A shower or a bath wouldn’t cut it. You needed to be submerged; to feel it all around you as you moved your body through it. Just being in close proximity to the water sparkling in the moonlight made it easier to breathe. Your eyes scanned the surrounding areas, searching for signs of life. It was still. Quite. Peaceful. Perfect.
I love this and I have to say: they’re not the only ones wet around here.
